Inman, is a confederate soldier who deserts to meet Ada in war, Ninole Kidmanas Ada Monroe, a young woman who lived on Cold Mountain and loved Immanr, Renee Zellwegeras Ruby Thewes, a woman who helped to manage her farm when she was in troubles.
